Department of Computer Technologies attended the Career Talks with Leaders Event from hangikredi.com

A Career Talk event was held under the organization of the Career Development Application and Research Center of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU) and the hosting of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. Lecturer Gökhan TURAN, Lecturer Dr. Tülay TURAN and our department students from our Department of Computer Technologies participated in the Career Talk event.

Academics and students from different units of MAKU and a representative of the hangikredi.com company attended the career talk.

 The sector representatives who introduced their companies and themselves gave information about important issues to be considered in business life, the characteristics that students in the software and informatics field should have. The company representatives gave important advice on what is needed to be successful in business life after graduation, internship and employment opportunities. In the talk where active participation was provided, students asked the company representatives about what they should do while their education continues, and about their professional knowledge and skills. The talk was held with the questions asked by the students and academics and the answers of the sector representatives. At the end of the program, which was held very efficiently and beneficially, plaques and thank you documents were presented to the company representatives who participated in the talk. After the program, students and sector actors came together at the cocktail.

 Within the scope of the Sector University collaboration, a cooperation protocol was signed between MAKU and HangiKredi.com company to carry out internship and in-company vocational training applications together to train students more competent and more ready for the needs of the market. With the protocol signed between Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy and HangiKredi General Manager Oray Durmazoğlu, it was aimed to increase the project works and collaborations to be carried out by benefiting from the knowledge accumulation of MAKU in innovative studies, to train students more effectively, intertwined with their professions.
