Technical Sciences Vocational School Unit Quality Commission Meeting Held

The Unit Quality Commission Meeting of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Technical Sciences Vocational School was held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 14:00 in Meeting and Seminar Room 106 of the Vocational School.
The meeting was attended by the Unit Quality Commission Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orhan ARMAĞAN, Dr. Faculty Member İbrahim ÇETİNER, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İnci BİLGE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurcihan AKDAĞ, Assoc. Prof. Selman GÜRSOY, Assoc. Prof. Durmuş Fatih MENGİ, Assoc. Prof. Muhammed KÖKCE, Vocational School Secretary Mutlu IŞIK, Hülya UÇAK, and Student Quality Representative Zeynep OSMANOĞLU.
During the meeting, the preparation of the 2026 Unit Self-Evaluation Report and the monitoring, evaluation, and planning of necessary improvement activities for the quality processes related to the spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year were discussed.
It was evaluated that the evidence files to be used within the scope of the 2026 Unit Self-Evaluation Report should be prepared in PDF format as much as possible and that the links published on the website should be structured in a way that does not change. Additionally, it was decided to check the existing deficiencies to make the English version of the Vocational School website active, accessible, and up-to-date.
The issue of entering student attendance information separately into both maku.net/yoklama and maku.net/obis systems was discussed, and it was suggested that to carry out attendance tracking more healthily and efficiently, the processes should be conducted through a single system if possible.
It was stated that the course evaluation surveys should continue to be implemented online during the period when students view their exam grades. There was a consensus on digitizing the employer-student evaluation form used in the professional training process in the workplace to be filled out and evaluated in an online environment.
Additionally, it was noted that the usage rate of the Graduate Student Tracking System by students is low, and it was suggested that necessary studies be conducted in relevant committees and units to increase the usage rate.
It was unanimously decided to present the discussed topics and decisions made to the Vocational School Directorate, and the meeting was concluded.
