Department of Computer Technologies Attended the 5th Mediterranean Informatics Summit

Our university's Technology Community organization with Vocational School of Higher Education Computer Technologies Department students and Mechatronics Program students attended the “5th Mediterranean Informatics Summit” held on December 9, 2019, at the Mimar Sinan Congress Center in Kepez district of Antalya.

At the largest and most comprehensive informatics summit in the Mediterranean region, many distinguished speakers who have made a name for themselves in their fields gave presentations. At the summit, which took place in 12 sessions; Mehmet Fatih KACIR (Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology), Münir KARALOĞLU (Governor of Antalya), Emrah KOZAN (Pixel Academy), İbrahim YAVUZ (Antalya Technopark), Akın SERTCAN (General Manager of Logo Software Turkey), Engin SEZGİN (ETS HR and Training Director), Ali BAHAR (President of AOSB), Ömer EKİNCİ (DESNET CEO), Erol TÜRK (San Computer)-Eda YILMAZ (Talya Informatics) - Tolga DİNÇER (DT Communication) – Harun DOĞAN (C&W), Raifhan AYDIN (Pixel Lab), Ali Erhan TAMER (Blockchain), Tuğba ŞİŞİK (Zyxel Turkey), Serdar Ekrem ŞİRİN (Galakticos, Muse Istanbul, Esports), Yalçın ÇİFTÇİ (Essa Energy) were among the distinguished speakers who participated and gave presentations in their fields.

The informatics summit was attended by Lect. Gör. Şevket BAŞ and Technology Community Academic Advisor Lect. Gör. Gökhan TURAN and students.

After the summit, which took place in the form of a knowledge feast, students expressed their satisfaction and stated that they expected the continuation of such very beneficial organizations.
