The Future of the Natural Gas Distribution Sector and Career Opportunities at TBMYO

A program titled “The Future of the Natural Gas Distribution Sector and Career Opportunities” was organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Technical Sciences Vocational School to facilitate students' meetings with sector representatives and to contribute to their career planning.
The program held in the TBMYO Conference Hall was attended by important representatives of the natural gas distribution sector. The speakers included Harun Yeşil, the Provincial Director of Torosgaz Burdur, Kıvanç Şenol, the Administrative Operations Manager, İsmail Keleş, the Human Resources Chief, Ömer Çakır, the Internal Installation Chief, and Onur Gürdal, the Internal Installation Responsible.
Additionally, the program was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ragıp Yıldırım, the Director of the Technical Sciences Vocational School, Dr. Faculty Member İbrahim Çetiner and Dr. Faculty Member Ahmet Böbrek, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kırbaş, the Head of the Electrical and Energy Department, and Lecturer Durmuş Fatih Mengi from the Natural Gas Technology Program, as well as Lecturer Muhammed Kökçe from the Mechanical Program.
During the program, information was shared about the development of the natural gas distribution sector, current needs in the energy field, technical personnel employment, and career opportunities. Students had the opportunity to receive direct information from experts in the field about the sector's working structure, field applications, technical qualifications, and recruitment processes.
The event emphasized the importance of sector-university collaborations in the career planning of vocational school students, while also highlighting the employment opportunities available to students receiving technical education in the energy sector.
The program, which was held with intense participation, concluded with a group photo after answering the students' questions.
