At the “Meeting with the Sector” event organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Technical Sciences Vocational School Machine Program, students also met with expert names who are graduates of our school. At the event, representatives from Baydarlar Company and Altıniş Shaft Company shared their experiences with the students. At the event held on 17.04.2025, two experienced names actively working in the industry were hosted. Baydarlar Company Design and Manufacturing Supervisor İsmail ERKE and Altıniş Shaft Company Production Supervisor İsmail KILIÇASLAN shared their professional knowledge and experiences with the students.
Industry representatives provided valuable advice for students who will enter the business life after graduation. In the speeches, topics such as work discipline, teamwork, technical skills, and adaptation to current technologies were particularly highlighted.
Students had the opportunity to directly obtain information about the sector by directing their questions to the industrialists on topics they were curious about. The answers given to questions related to vocational training in the workplace, job applications, and career processes were guiding for the students.
In the general evaluation made at the end of the event, industry representatives expressed their satisfaction with the students' interest and level of preparation. The students, on the other hand, requested that such events be held regularly.
