The "Organ Donation Saves Lives" Conference was Held at TBMYO

A comprehensive conference on the topic "Organ Donation Saves Lives" was organized at our school to raise social awareness and highlight the vital importance of organ donation.
During the event held on April 22, 2026, at 10:30 AM in the TBMYO Conference Hall, informative presentations were made to students by Nurse Fidan Atlı, the Organ and Tissue Donation Coordinator of Burdur Provincial Health Directorate, and by Nurse Aysel Karaçam and Nurse Serpil Candan Sehar, the Organ and Tissue Donation Coordinators of Burdur State Hospital.
Within the scope of the conference, the importance of organ and tissue donation, the donation process, and its social contributions were discussed in detail, while students' questions regarding the topic were also answered by the experts. At the end of the event, volunteer students filled out organ donation forms to make donations.
This meaningful event aimed to raise awareness among students about organ donation, marking an important step towards contributing to saving lives.
