An Orientation Meeting Was Held for the New Faculty Members Starting at Our Vocational School

An orientation meeting for the newly appointed faculty members at our Vocational School was held on December 15, 2025, at 16:30 in the Office of the Director of the Vocational School. The meeting was organized to introduce the general structure of our school and the academic and administrative processes.

Attending the orientation meeting were; Instructor Burak DAĞCI, Instructor Abdullah Burak KEŞKEKÇİ, Instructor Şehrigül TOKSOY, Instructor Doğucan YAĞMUR, Instructor Dr. Nurcihan AKDAĞ, Instructor Fatih ERGENÇİÇEĞİ, Instructor Serkan KESKİN, and Instructor Halil ÖZDOĞAN, as well as our Deputy Directors Dr. Faculty Member İbrahim ÇETİNER and Dr. Faculty Member Ahmet BÖBREK, along with our School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ragıp YILDIRIM.

During the meeting, the existing physical infrastructure of our school and the ongoing programs were briefly introduced; information was shared regarding academic and administrative processes. Information was provided about the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ); the concepts of Learning Outcomes (LO), Program Outcomes (PO), and Basic Field Competencies (BFC) were introduced, and the important points to consider in the establishment of these structures were discussed.

Additionally, the Student Information System (SIS) was introduced to the newly appointed faculty members, and sample applications were carried out through the system. Information was also provided about the MEDEK processes being conducted in our school and programs. The meeting concluded after a mutual exchange of ideas on all topics on the agenda.
