The Career Roadmap Talk for Young Professionals at MAKÜ Received Intense Interest

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Career Development Application and Research Center organized a “Career Roadmap for Young Professionals” talk, which was held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in the Veterinary Faculty Conference Hall with the active participation of students.
Additionally, students from the Technical Sciences Vocational School's Computer Programming, Automotive Technology, Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Technology, Digital Transformation Electronics, and Electric Device Technology programs, along with our Faculty Members Lecturer Gökhan Turan, Lecturer Tolga Kocakulak, and Lecturer Abdullah Burak Keşkekçi, also actively participated in the event.
The guest of the talk was Tofaş A.Ş. Regional Sales Manager and Corporate Trainer Göktürk Doğan. In his speech, Doğan shared valuable information on many topics, from the importance of creating a personal brand as one of the fundamental stages of career planning to the competencies necessary to stand out in the business world and the mistakes young professionals should avoid. Doğan, who sincerely answered the students' questions, emphasized the need to keep the curiosity alive, have a vision, and adopt a culture of continuous learning in their career journey.
The program, which was followed with interest by students and academics, was found to be both informative and inspiring by the participants. At the end of the event, the Director of the Career Development Center Lecturer Gökhan Turan presented a plaque of appreciation to Göktürk Doğan for his contributions.
The Technical Sciences Vocational School announced that participation in such events that support students' professional and personal development will continue to increase.
