On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM, an AKTS Information and MEDEK Process Meeting was held in classroom 304 with the intense participation of academic staff at the Technical Sciences Vocational School of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.
The meeting started with a presentation conducted by Instructor Handan Sabriye YAMAN and Instructor Mehmet KUTBAY. The presentation detailed the fundamental principles to be considered in the creation of European Credit Transfer System (AKTS) information packages, the integration of the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) and the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) levels into programs, and the relationship between program qualifications and learning outcomes.
Additionally, examples related to quality criteria, course-outcome relationship tables, assessment and evaluation forms, and the correct use of ISCED codes were shared within the scope of the MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association) process.
At the end of the meeting, participants reached a consensus on reviewing program outcomes by department to ensure that quality processes are aligned with MEDEK standards.
