Hydraulic and Pneumatic Engineering Program
Yapılış Tarihi | 19 August 2026, Wednesday
Today, industrial facilities heavily utilize hydraulic and pneumatic systems to sustain production processes quickly, reliably, and efficiently. These technologies, used in a wide range from production lines to construction machinery, robotic applications to automation systems, require well-trained technical personnel for their installation, operation, and maintenance. Our school's Hydraulic and Pneumatic Engineering Program is designed to train qualified technicians who can recognize fluid power systems, use these systems safely and effectively, and carry out fault detection and maintenance work.
Within the program, students receive theoretical and practical training in a wide range from basic mechanical and electrical knowledge to hydraulic and pneumatic circuit design, from electro-hydraulic and electro-pneumatic systems to industrial automation. Thus, our graduates gain the professional skills to work in production, maintenance-repair, technical service, and automation units.
Program Objectives and Content
The main objective of the program is to train qualified technicians who know the operating principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, can correctly select system components, read and apply circuit diagrams, assemble systems, and contribute to the detection and resolution of encountered faults. During the training process, the aim is to cultivate technical personnel who are aware of quality, energy efficiency, occupational health and safety, and environmental responsibility.
Key Topics We Will Cover During the Training:
Hydraulic Systems: Learn the operating principles of hydraulic pumps, cylinders, motors, valves, and other circuit components; set up and operate basic hydraulic circuits.
Pneumatic Systems: Recognize compressors, air preparation units, pneumatic cylinders, directional control valves, and connection elements; explore the operating structure of compressed air systems.
Electro-Hydraulic and Electro-Pneumatic Applications: Learn to control hydraulic and pneumatic systems with electrical control elements; perform applications with relays, sensors, and solenoid valves.
Circuit Design and Simulation: Read hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams, design circuits suitable for needs, and examine the operational behaviors of systems with computer-aided simulation applications.
Industrial Automation and PLC: Learn the integration of hydraulic and pneumatic systems into automation processes using programmable logic controllers, sensors, and control elements.
Assembly, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting: Learn to assemble pipes, hoses, and connection elements; identify and resolve basic faults such as leaks, pressure loss, overheating, and irregular movement.
Measurement, Control, and Energy Efficiency: Measure system parameters such as pressure, flow, temperature, and movement to evaluate performance; discover methods to reduce energy losses.
Technical Drawing and Machine Elements: Read circuit diagrams and technical drawings; evaluate mechanical connections, standard machine elements, and system components from a technical perspective.
Occupational Health and Safety: Learn the safety rules to be applied when working with high-pressure fluids and compressed air systems; develop safe working habits during maintenance and assembly operations.
Career Opportunities
Our graduates can find job opportunities in numerous businesses where hydraulic and pneumatic systems are used. They can be employed in sectors such as machine manufacturing, automotive, defense industry, aviation, iron-steel, white goods, energy, mining, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, plastic and packaging industry with titles such as Hydraulic and Pneumatic Technician, Maintenance-Repair Technician, Automation Technician, Technical Service Personnel, Assembly Technician or After-Sales Support Personnel.
Our graduates can also work in companies that produce hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, sell these equipment, and provide technical service; they can take roles in project, assembly, commissioning, maintenance, and customer support units.
Graduates who meet the relevant conditions can also continue their education to transition to engineering by pursuing a bachelor's degree. This way, they can combine their practical technical experience with advanced engineering knowledge.
If you are interested in fluid power systems, mechanical structures, and industrial automation; if you want to learn the technologies that enable the movement of machines and establish a strong place for yourself in the evolving structure of industry, the Hydraulic and Pneumatic Engineering Program is just for you. We would be happy to see you in this dynamic field where power, movement, and control come together.
