2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester Vocational Training Excuse Applications

According to the decision of the Technical Sciences Vocational School Board dated 11.08.2026 and numbered 67/1, the excuse applications for the Vocational Training course will be accepted for students who have successfully completed all their courses except for the Vocational Training course due to work accidents, serious illnesses, or other excuses that may be accepted by the Vocational School Management Board, and who could not take or complete the Vocational Training course in the 2026-2027 academic year fall semester.

Applications can be made between 13.08.2026-20.08.2026 and will end on Thursday, 20.08.2026, at the end of working hours.

Students who will apply must fill out and sign the Vocational Training Excuse Application Form below completely; they must also attach their current transcripts and documents proving their excuses to the form. Application documents can be delivered in person to the Directorate of the Technical Sciences Vocational School within the specified period, or they can be sent in a signed and legible manner to tbmyo@mehmetakif.edu.tr.

In applications made via email, the subject line must be written as “Vocational Training Excuse Application - Student Number - Full Name”.

Applications will be evaluated and decided upon by the Board of Directors of the Technical Sciences Vocational School. Applying does not mean that the excuse has been accepted or that the student can directly start the Vocational Training. To start the Vocational Training, it is also mandatory to fulfill other conditions specified in the relevant Procedures and Principles.
