Natural Gas and Installation Technology Program

Students who score sufficient points in the University Entrance Exam in the numerical category gain the right to education and start their education in our associate degree program. There are 3 teaching staff members working in the program. Additionally, other teaching staff from our school also take part in the courses.
 

The two-year associate degree program is conducted with theoretical and practical courses. In the Natural Gas and Installation Technology program, in addition to basic subjects such as mathematics, English, and technical drawing, courses related to heating systems, natural gas installation, air conditioning installation, project preparation, computer-aided design, engineering science, and alternative energy sources are taught and practical applications are carried out. Our school implements a 3+1 education model, where students who complete 3 semesters of theoretical education go for 1 semester of practical workplace training. Education is provided in Turkish.

As a general rule, evaluation is done based on one midterm exam (%40) and one final exam (%60) per course. For their own development, students are guided by teaching staff to conduct research-oriented projects related to the field they are studying.

Our graduates from the Natural Gas and Installation Technology Program at the Technical Sciences Vocational School will have opportunities for employment in companies engaged in heating-cooling, plumbing, and construction work in the industry.

The student quota for the program is 40 people. Those who successfully complete the Gas and Installation Technology associate degree program may transition vertically to the following programs if they pass the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by ÖSYM;

Mechanical Engineering

Energy Systems Engineering

They can make a vertical transition to bachelor's degree programs.
