HISTORY
The Electrical Devices Technology Program was established in 2025 within the Technical Sciences Vocational School of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and started its associate degree education in the same academic year. There are 2 faculty members working in the Electrical Devices Technology Program.

Graduates of the Electrical Devices Technology Program receive the title of “Electrical Devices Technology Technician” upon graduation. Electrical Devices Technology Technicians can find job opportunities mostly in private institutions.
Goals of the Electrical Devices Technology Associate Degree Program
- To train qualified technicians in the field of electricity and electronics: To provide students with technical knowledge and skills in the production, assembly, maintenance, and repair of electrical devices.
- To train graduates suitable for sector needs: To provide qualified graduates for the industry, service, and production sectors.
- To train individuals who can follow technological developments: To ensure that students can keep up with technological developments and adapt to these changes.
- To train technicians with awareness of occupational health and safety: To equip individuals who work in accordance with occupational health and safety measures in work environments.
