Our Vocational School of Technical Sciences is making external collaborations for different purposes. With these collaborations, it is aimed to graduate students with the qualifications needed by the industry, high application and skill capabilities, and to provide societal contributions. In this context, constant contact is maintained with industry representatives. The purpose of these collaborations is gathered under five main headings.
· Conducting R&D quality studies
· Conducting consultancy and training studies
· Cooperation with government institutions (Vocational competence, public education centers, etc.)
· Cooperation with other universities and faculties
· Conducting internship and workplace training collaborations
Current Situation
· A 3+1 education system is implemented in our Vocational School. This application contributes to the professional development of the student and the increase of employment after graduation. During this process, the constant communication of students and academics with companies also increases the potential for collaboration.
· Meetings are held with potential companies and different collaboration protocols are signed.
· Current application information meetings are held about TUBITAK, European Union, KOSGEB, BAP, etc. project potentials and writing.
· Students are encouraged to participate in project markets, idea competitions, entrepreneurship, etc. activities and structures.
· By opening courses for external stakeholders with technical training content for practical and theoretical training purposes, participation certificates are given, and the qualifications of sector personnel are increased.
Goals
· Preparation and reporting of our unit's infrastructure and personnel competencies and potential.
· Researching potential study areas based on department and program, creating lists and directing students.
· Preparation of corporate documents and forms for protocols and collaborations.
