Introduction and Employment Opportunities
Hybrid and electric vehicles, which aim to increase energy efficiency and minimize environmental pollution, are developing and spreading rapidly every day. Many automotive companies have reached good levels in the production of hybrid and electric vehicles, and their sales are rapidly increasing worldwide and in our country. Significant investments are also being made in hybrid and electric vehicles in our country. Prototype production of domestic electric vehicles in different classes has been achieved, and it is aimed to start mass production and introduce them to the market in the coming years. In our provincial and district municipalities, electric and hybrid garbage collection trucks, street sweeping vehicles, and city buses are providing services to increase energy efficiency and reduce environmental and noise pollution.
Infrastructure works for electric vehicle charging stations and the installation of charging stations in different classes are being carried out in many parts of our country. In our rapidly developing defense industry, prototype production of hybrid and electric military land vehicles has been completed with the aim of offering them for use by military units for different purposes and increasing the country's exports, and mass production has begun. In this context, there is a need for qualified technical personnel who can produce, repair, and maintain hybrid and electric vehicles, and it is inevitable that this need will increase day by day.
